Meet the Founders
We built Snory because we needed it ourselves. As toddler parents, we experienced nightly bedtime and naptime struggles and decided to create a solution grounded in research and real parenting experience.
Zhadyra is a scientist at UC Berkeley and a mother who has read over 30 books on child psychology and emotional intelligence. She applies her deep understanding of bedtime challenges to create a practical and effective solution for families.
Mukhtar is a medical doctor and a circadian biology scientist at UC Berkeley. With previous experience building successful educational and health startups, he now leads Snory's technology and integrates the latest sleep science into every story.

Snory is designed primarily for toddlers and preschoolers, ages 2 to 6. However, its calming stories and companionship can be enjoyed by slightly older children as well, especially during quiet time or travel.
